Our Marquee Event each year is the "$100,000 NMIT Kyneton Cup" which is run over 2000m on the Wednesday (2nd Nov 2011) following the Melbourne Cup and attracts a crowd of around 6000 people. The NMIT Kyneton Cup Day is recognised as one of the great race days out on the Country Spring Racing callendar and forms part of Victoria’s Spring Racing Carnival. Many spring racing enthusiasts are now taking the entire Spring Carnival Week off to enjoy seven days of fashion, glamour, fun and excitement and are building the NMIT Kyneton Cup in to their schedule! Entertaining with Family, Friends and Work Colleges in Marquees under the magnificent Elms and Oaks has become exceptionally popular over the past couple of years with over 2200 people enjoying Marquee Packages at the 2010 NMIT Kyneton Cup.
Horse Races & Training
Approximately 60 trainers undertake their craft from NMIT Kyneton Park with around 100-120 horses training on course each day producing approximately 1850 starters across Victoria each year. You can now check our club records and track information online.
