Our Marquee Event each is the NMIT Kyneton Cup which is run over 2000m on the day after the Melbourne Cup (Wed 7th Nov 2012) and attracts a crowd of around 6000 people.
Kyneton Cup Day is recognised as one of the truly great country race days and forms part of Victoria’s Spring Racing Carnival and attracts people from all over Australia and other parts of the world who now attend this day each year as part of their Melbourne Cup Week activities.
So submit those annual leave forms, pull together a group of people to come out and have a great day at the 2012 NMIT Kyneton Cup.

NMIT Kyneton Park is situated within the beautiful Macedon Ranges, on the edge of the Campaspe River nestled amongst 100 years old Elm and Oaks Trees and is considered one of this most beautiful race courses in Australia and is only one hour's drive from Melbourne's CBD, Bendigo and Ballarat. Entertaining with Family, Friends and Work Colleges within a Marquee under the magnificent Elms and Oaks has become exceptionally popular over the past couple of years with over 2200 people enjoying Marquee Packages at the 2011 NMIT Kyneton Cup.
HORSE RACING AND TRAINING
Approximately 60 trainers undertake their craft from NMIT Kyneton Park with between 80-120 horses training on course each day producing approximately 2000 starters across Victoria each year. You can now check our club recordsand track information online.
